The Critical Thinking General Education requirement at Henry Ford Community College states that all graduates will be able to:

• Use Critical thinking and problem solving skills in addressing a problem or situation described verbally, graphically, symbolically, or numerically

• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills in addressing a problem or situation described verbally, graphically, symbolically, or numerically.

Courses Meeting General Education Outcome #3

• Any non-activity based course numbered 100 or higher will meet the requirements of General Education Outcome #3.

Students first enrolled before Fall 2005 may choose to meet either the prior General Education requirements (approved in 2001) or the current requirements.  However, all students applying to graduate after May 2008 must meet the General Education requirements above.
